You can put your keywords with proper seperation into a text field. Use the Workflow to put the text field into a Keyword variable.
Write the variable into the Keyword field.
Also very handy for end-users that need to enter many keyword values manually.
Let the user fill the text field instead with the correct seperated values, the workflow can be triggered on the change of the text field.
